Beginning your Journey

So you have made the decision to visit Koyokai and become a member: We recommend that you visit a class and observe a full session. That way, we can answer questions and inform you on what you will need for your first lesson. We can also direct you on how to make payments for your monthly membership dues.

As a rule, please remember that Koyokai is a Martial Arts Club. We are non-profit. This does not mean that we offer anything less than the best instruction and practice opportunity. However, we also reserve the right to decide on who is going to be welcomed as a member based on proper behavior and manners.

Kendo is a long journey and difficult journey. Members must be patient and willing to train very hard in order to achieve their goals. Commitment is mutual and we are willing to do our part to welcome you to Koyokai. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with us:
